Halfpipe Madness — Game Art & Visual Development

Halfpipe Madness is an experimental finger-skate arena game combining fast arcade movement with a noisy underground visual identity.

Players build momentum across the halfpipe, perform tricks and use speed to knock their opponents out of the arena. The visual direction mixes pixel art, graffiti, collage, stickers and zine-inspired textures to create a world that feels chaotic, handmade and energetic.

The main challenge was preserving gameplay readability while using dense textures, saturated colors and intentionally rough graphic elements.

Role: Game Concept, Art Direction, Pixel Art, Character Design, Animation, Environment Art, UI and Visual Effects.

Developed using Aseprite and Godot.
